Administrative Matters 1

Hey everyone, ithebigc here.

I have a couple of changes to announce regarding this blog now that I've returned from Japan and graduated from college.

Since I have relatively more free time now while I'm job hunting and not in school, I've decided to pick up translations of Meru's and Mikurin's G+ in addition to Sakura's G+ for the time being. I'll refrain from making any promises about how long I'll be doing this because that never turns out well for me (and who knows, I might find a job tomorrow...haha, eh T_T) but it's something that I've been thinking of doing since meeting them in Japan. Of course, if someone else already does this, please tell me so I don't need to waste my time.

Meru's special - she's one of the girls I'd say I even disliked before studying abroad in Fukuoka, but after seeing her perform live and meeting and talking to her multiple times, I'd say that she would be the girl I recommend everyone meet, even over Sakura who's my oshimen. She really goes above and beyond for her fans, and while I won't go into it here on a blog meant for translations (that's for another time on Stage48) I want more people to get a sense of how she thinks and what's behind that bubbly exterior.

Miku is also someone else that caught my attention. Not nearly as fun to meet as Meru, but she's clever beyond her age and surprisingly interesting enough to talk to. Nako's cuter, but you're not going to be getting much out of her while Miku can actually hold a decent conversation. So, I hope this also shows through in her G+ for you all.

As for Sakura, of course I'm continuing with her translations. I oshihened after all =P

お家に帰って、改めて今日のことを思い返すと涙が出て来ました。
その涙がどんな涙かは、秘密です。
After returning home, thinking back over today's events I cried.
It's a secret what kind of tears those were.

悔しいと言ってしまうのが、悔しいから。
私は、さくめーるで送ったように味の素スタジアムまで弱音は吐かないと決めました。
I said that it's frustrating because it is.
Like I said in the Saku Mail, I've decided that until Ajinomoto Stadium I won't whine or give in.


私を支えてくれるのは、皆さんからの応援です。
人という字は、人と人が支えあっているように…
私と皆さんが支えあって、HKT48の宮脇咲良はいます。
What's propping me up, keeping me going is everyone's support.  
The kanji character for people 「人」 looks like people meeting, helping and supporting each other...
Because everyone has pushed me, encouraged me, HKT48's Miyawaki Sakura exists.

私についてきてくださいとは言わないです。
私は、一人で皆さんを引っ張っていく力はまだないから、皆さんと一緒に手をつなぎながら夢へ向かって歩んでいきたい。
I shouldn't say come along with me. (TL Note: Refer to her previous mobame, also translated on this blog, for what she's talking about)
As I am, I don't yet have the capacity or proficiency to lead everyone so instead, I want to face my dream and walk hand in hand with everyone towards it.

一つだけ言えることは…

総選挙速報発表終わりました！
第20位にランクインさせて頂きました。
The announcement of the preliminary rankings for the sousenkyo has finished!
I ranked in at #20.

感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです！
Everyone, really thank you so much!
I'm filled with feelings of gratitude!

他にも、HKTからは沢山のメンバーがランクイン出来ました！
なんと選抜には、はるっぴ、まどか、そして一位のさっしー！
Also, there were a lot of members that ranked in from HKT!
Somehow in senbatsu there's Haruppi, Madoka and Sasshi who's at #1!

選抜メンバーに3人もHKTメンバーがランクインしていてとても嬉しいです。
でも、その中に入ることが出来なかったこと悔しいと思ってもいいですか？
I'm glad that even in senbatsu 3 HKT members were able to rank.
However, is it also ok for me to be frustrated that I'm not among them?

20位という順位は、本当に有難いです。
どうやったらこの感謝の気持ちが伝わるのかとやきもきしてしまいます。
I'm really thankful for rank 20.
However, I'm still fretting over how to convey these feelings of gratitude properly.

私の今年の目標は、選抜です。
その目標をまだ向いていたい。
My goal for this year is senbatsu.
I'm not yet fit for that goal.

だからこそ、これから味の素スタジアムまで私は弱音を吐きません。
強い心を持って、皆さんと目標達成出来る様に頑張ります。
For this reason, from now until Ajinomoto Stadium I won't give up or whine.
With a strong heart and mind, I'll try my hardest to achieve my goal with everyone.

どうか私についてきてください。

こんばんは！

Good evening!

今日は、私の生誕祭でした！
来てくださった皆さん、ロビー鑑賞してくださった皆さん、DMM配信で観てくださった皆さん、遠くから応援してくださった皆さん、ありがとうございます！

Today was my seitansai!

Everyone that came, the people that were watching it in the lobby, the people watching on DMM and the people that were supporting me from afar, thank you!

本当に、どうやってこの気持ちを伝えたらいいのかなあ。
「ありがとう」という言葉以上の感謝の気持ちを伝える言葉を探しています。

Really, I'm unsure how to convey my feelings right now.

I need a word that can express my feelings of gratitude beyond just a simple "thank you."

それくらい皆さんの存在って、本当にすごいんです。
いつも支えてくれて、どんな時でも応援してくださって、、、
こんな私だけど、皆さんがいるからここまで頑張ることが出来ます。

Everyone's existence is really that wonderful to me.

Always supporting me, and cheering me on at any time...

Even though I'm only like this, the reason I've been able to try my best up until now is because everyone is here for me.

生誕祭も、一ヶ月近く遅れてしまって、ごめんなさい。
皆さんが、とても楽しみにしてくださっていたのになかなか出来ず、私もそわそわしていました。
やっと、こうやって生誕祭を開けて嬉しいです！

About the seitansai, I'm sorry that it was about a month late.

Although everyone was looking forward to it a lot, to not be able to hold it for so long, I was also restless and uneasy about it.

I'm glad that we were able to present the seitansai like this at last though.

村重の素直なところが、私は好きです。
嬉しい時は、すぐ顔に出ちゃうし、その分凹んでいる時もすぐ分かります笑
いつも一緒にいるからかな？
今なに考えてるかとか、分かっちゃうんですよ〜笑

I like the frank side of Murashige.

When she's happy, it quickly shows on her face, so accordingly when she's down I can also understand really quickly.

I wonder if it's because we're together all the time?

What she's thinking about now, things like that, I can comprehend it~lol

村重とは、オーディションの時からずっと一緒にいます。
だから、こうやって司会をしてくれてとても嬉しいです！
そして、気持ちの込もったお手紙もありがとう！
また今からゆっくり読み直したいと思います！

We've always been together since auditions.
Therefore, I'm happy that she was able to host it like this!

And, thanks for the letter packed with feelings!

I think I'm going to read it over again slowly now!

そして、生誕祭の場を借りて今の目標を皆さんに伝えさせていただきました。

Also, I borrowed the stage at the seitansai to announce my current goal to everyone. 

(TL Note: Sakura announced at her seitansai that she wants to be senbatsu in this year's sousenkyo, meaning rank 16 and up.)

とても難しい事だし、大変な事だと感じています。先輩方をみていても、私は本当に未熟過ぎると分かっています。

It's very difficult and I can feel the gravity of it. Just looking at my senpai, I can really understand how incredibly inexperienced I am.

高すぎる壁は、乗り越えるのではなく倒したい。
倒した後の壁は、これからの道のりで橋になってくれると思うからです。

A wall that's too high to overcome, I don't want to just climb over it, I want to knock it down completely.

It's because I think a wall that's knocked down can become a bridge on the journey from now on.

こんな私ですが、夢への一歩を応援して頂けたら嬉しいです。

Even though I'm just me, to take one more step further towards my dream, if you can support me I'd be overjoyed.
